Sponsored Students
The students currently at Maua English Medium School
The children of Maua English Medium School
The sponsorship program started sending children to school at Maua English Medium School almost three years ago! Some have been able to attend school for a few years and we frequently reconnect with them over the years. It was amazing to see the change in all of their mannerisms and education levels. They are a lot more confident in their abilities, they are not in constant search for attention, and they are very polite and well behaved. They are still children so they are always full of energy and excitement to see us; however, it is evident they have grown a lot over the years and have very good guidance in their school.

Joshua's Sponsor Parent
"Our sponsorship experience began in October 2014. Through Afroplan we were able to obtain information on children currently seeking Maua School sponsorship. We were assigned to Joshua, he is now 6 years old. Organizers did a visit to Joshuas home. We then received information on his family and living conditions. We also received pictures. It's coming almost a year since sponsorship began, we have received reports from all reporting periods outlining marks and comments of Joshuas progress. Mr. Frank at Afroplan has always been so great in responding to our emails.
Thus far our experience has been so fulfilling. It's so amazing to know that Afroplan is helping to make better lives for these children and their families. Our family here in Canada has learned so much and it has taught us many important things from across the miles. Thank you for bringing us Joshua." |
Loveness' Sponsor Parent
"My family has been overjoyed to contribute to Loveness Lazaro's education and well being. Loveness, once given the chance to go to primary school at age 9, has shown to be a gifted student. We consider her a part of our family and look forward to sharing in all her future success."
